Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. Submission Deadline

All abstracts must be submitted by 15th Jan, 2025.

2. Word Limit

Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title and authors.

3. Format and Structure

• Title: Should be brief, descriptive, and relevant to the content.
• Authors and Affiliations: Include the full names, affiliations, and contact information of all authors.
• Abstract Body: Should be organized as follows:

• Background: Clearly state the background, objectives of the research.
• Methods: Briefly describe the study design, methodology, and analytical techniques.
• Results: Summarize the key findings with supporting data.
• Conclusion: Present the main conclusions and implications for surgical oncology.

4. Research Areas

Abstracts must relate to at least one of the following categories:

• Breast Cancer Surgery
• Head and Neck Oncology
• Gastrointestinal Surgery
• Gynecologic Oncology
• Hepatobiliary Surgery
• Colorectal Surgery
• Musculoskeletal Oncology
• Emerging Technologies in Cancer Surgery
• Other relevant areas in surgical oncology

5. Presentation Type

Specify your preferred presentation type:

• Oral
• Poster
• Video Presentation

6. Original Work

All abstracts must present original research. Previously published work or work presented at other conferences is not eligible for submission.

7. Submission Process

• For video abstract - please prepare 8+2 minutes video. And upload the link in the specified field in the submission form.
• Submit your abstract online via the MIDCON IASO 2025 conference website.
• You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.

8. Review and Selection

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and acceptance notifications will be sent by January 15, 2025.
